Think this is a great idea. Perhaps an adult/grandparent could record them reading their favourite story/telling them their favourite story or recount stories from their birth onwards would help comfort them. I lost my Dad at 14 which was long before the digital age and I would have loved to have had something as a child I could look/listen to so that I didn't feel as lonely.
I lost my Dad many years ago too and, like you, would've liked those lasting messages that this App could've bought me.
Well said Sarah. My wife and I have done notes for each other, and I want my father to do a note to my children as they are only 3,and i want them too see their granddad talking to them when they are old enough to understand.
That story left a lump in my throat. what a fantastic idea to record stories
