I don't think there is anyone anywhere in the world who hasn't read Holly's farewell letter and hasn't been touched by it. What an amazing lady and a total inspiration to us all. Until I saw your message on her facebook page, I had no idea that you existed but I have to say I think that my farewell note is a great idea. It's a different way to do what Holly did and I'm not going to say that there is a right way or a wrong way of doing this - i just think it's a really good idea. I've just seen that you are now offering to help raise money for the charity of her choice - Rare cancer Australia - and I think that's a wonderful gesture from you. I don't see many businesses doing things like that so well done and I wish you every success.
Hi Michelle - Holly's story is impossible to read without having a lump in your throat. It has touched everyone here at myfarewellnote but ironically is an example of the very reason we set the service up. We are still relatively new but the interest we are seeing in our service is growing daily and we haven't truly started to market the product yet but of course we will do. Thanks for your comments about Rare Cancer Australia. We felt it was the least we could do after Holly's amazing story. We will keep all of our followers up to date with progress on this - we're really proud to have received an endorsement to this from Holly's partner. I think it means a lot to him that we've done this.
Holly's story has gripped the hearts of 10,000's of people and think it just goes to prove how leaving a note,letter or video etc can only have a positive effect on people after you have passed away. The fact that Luke has been so supportive towards our aim says a lot and we cannot thank him enough for being so helpful at the his obvious hard time. The charity he chose
