Sorry to keep posting on here but I also saw your tweet about promoting charities. Can you explain exactly how this works because I will see what I can do on behalf of the R.N.L.I.

No need to apologise - thanks for asking. In very simple terms, we can create promo codes for any charity which means that any myfarewellnote sign ups that we see, we can attribute to a particular charity. We then agree a % of the total sales value and pay that to the charity directly. As you’ll see from our website, we have 3 offers available for customers to purchase:
1. Light – which we currently have on offer as a free service (please note that this is a promotional offer and we may ask new users of the ‘Light’ service to pay a fee in the future
2. Plus – which is currently on offer at £2.84
3. Premium – which is currently on offer at £4.99
By way of a really simple example to help bring this to life, let’s assume that 2,000 customers sign up using your promo code and let’s assume that 40% adopt the ‘Light’ service, 30% the Plus service and 30% the Premium service. Let’s assume for now that we agree to pay 20% of all income generated from these sales to you, this would mean that we would pay your charity as follows:
o Light - £0.00 as this is a free service
o Plus - £340
o Premium - £600
o Generating your organisation a total of £940 throughout the year
Obviously if the sales were higher, you would generate more income and if we made the ‘Light’ option a service that people would have to pay for as well, then that would additionally increase the amount payable to you. There's no maximium limite that we would pay out so the sky is the limit for your charity. I hope that helps but let us know if we can be of further assistance

This is a great opportunity for any charity, no matter how big or small to work with myfarewellnote and raise funds and awareness for their charity with little work needed to be done by them.
We will promote their promo code on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and also links to information about their charity to help raise more awareness as well as funds. If the charity does the same on their social network accounts then it can only prove more of a success.
Our promo code offer in honour of Holly Butcher saw 12 people sign up and create a myfarewellnote using the HOLLY2018 promo code in just 11 days. The charity it was for, Rare Cancers Australia had been chosen by Luke's partner but despite ourselves getting in contact with Rare Cancers and promoting them on Twitter, it is fair to say that they did nothing to help promote this at all so therefore these sign ups were all down to our own promotions which is quite an achievement. With the actual charity helping to promote it, there is no doubt that more would have been raised.

Great idea, why is it that myfarewellnote team can do this for our charities, and big companies do very little?

That is a great question P.Milligan and thank you for posting.
As a team, we have always said that we would like to help charities through raising awareness and by helping to raise funds for them and deep down we have developed this app to actually help others too including ourselves who all see the benefits of it and have created messages.
It is actually amazing how many charities seem very reluctant to want our help despite the fact that it is such a simple thing to set up and then no real need for them to do anything.

I have forwarded your charity info onto a contact of mine in the R.N.L.I.
Seems crazy that charities are not simply fighting to get themselves a promo code off you seeing as they don't actually need to put any work into it themselves. Saw that you donated to Rare Cancers Australia which is a great cause

We have a very exciting opportunity for any Dyslexia charities out there. Can't reveal too much on here, but we have a song coming out that has been written and inspired by what we do and what makes it even more special, is that the artist suffers with Dyslexia. We would love for a Dyslexia charity to be a part of this where we will promote and raise funds for your charity through the exposure that this song and music video will get. Please send us an email or DM on Twitter if you are interested and we can explain more to you

Here at myfarewellnote, we are incredibly proud to announce that we have teamed up with www.ballstocancer.co.uk to help raise awareness and generate some much needed funding for this fantastic charity.
Balls to Cancer aims to fight cancer with fun, raising funds for male cancer awareness and education. They spend time and money on a nationwide (and in some cases worldwide) awareness campaign through the media, social networks, leaflets and posters, to try to make both men and women more aware of the dangers of cancer and to help men help themselves. Their fundraising events range from Races to football matches, climbing mountains to bungee jumping and the tie up with myfarewellnote is a first of its kind. Balls to Cancer aim to raise as much money as they can doing fun, exciting things which all the family can get involved with and it is the family focus that ties in so closely with myfarewellnote. Losing someone close to you can be a very traumatic and upsetting experience – and when it is a family member who sadly passes away, this impacts the entire family. The creation of a myfarewellnote can’t bring that loved one back but it can offer comfort at a time when those left behind need it the most.

Here's how you can help Balls to Cancer – whenever you or one of your friends, family or loved ones sets up a myfarewellnote, just enter the promo code BTC and 50% of every sale will go towards the charity. There is no limit to the amount of funds that can be raised so the more you spread the word, the more you help the charity to continue the amazing work that they do.

Whether that’s helping to fund SuperHeroChemo Boxes for children fighting cancer with chemotherapy, or raising money to purchase a luxury holiday home at Haven, Burnham on Sea holiday park for the use of cancer sufferers and their families or simply providing money to the many research projects and hospitals that Balls to Cancer support, you can be assured that all of the funds raised or donated goes straight into the charity to support its aims.

Please contact enquiries@myfarewellnote.com or send us a DM on twitter/instagram if you would like your charity organisation to receive it's very own promo code for myfarewellnote
